Michael Jordan 1989 Struck From Original Negative 12x18 Metallic Photo LE 2/5

This RARE 12x18 Photograph is struck directly from a privately held, original 35mm film negative and was captured live from the stands on April 13, 1989, at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis. It's professionally printed on Premium Kodak Professional Metallic paper!! Limited Edition Print #2/5 - This is print #2 of only 5 that will ever be struck worldwide in this format.

Extensive archive and roster verification has confirmed this photo captures one of the single most dominant, legendary individual performances of Michael Jordan's career. Playing point guard in Head Coach Doug Collins' offense during his famous late-season run, Jordan completely controlled the floor for 46 minutes, exploding for a monumental stat line. This historic night also featured an iconic showdown with a young Reggie Miller, who started the game and logged 40 minutes and dropped 25 points to defend his home court in a thrilling 109-105 Pacers victory.

Exquisite Metallic Presentation: Struck on Premium Kodak Metallic archival paper. This specialized gallery-tier stock features a unique reflective surface that gives the image a stunning, pearlescent shimmer. The whites pop with a brilliant, silvery glow, while the highlights exhibit an almost three-dimensional depth, making Michael Jordan practically leap off the paper. This spectacular photograph captures Michael Jordan in flight, mid-air, playing above the rim as Reggie Miller and Chuck Person look on. It's an ultra-rare action shot taken on a professional grade Nikon SLR film camera with manual Nikon zoom lens from Section 7, Row H (center court). It is amongst the only such photographs in existence (that of a fan's unique perspective) of Michael Jordan in action from a road game during his historic 1988-89 season. Very few, IF ANY, photographs exist from this vantage point - that of a fan in the stands - taken on professional grade equipment, as cameras with a removable lens were strictly prohibited in all NBA venues (unless professionally credentialed and located on the floor behind the baseline in the designated media area).

But one lucky 14-yr old fan snuck one in and captured magic. Note, this image is from my family's Personal Collection : the original negative was recently discovered in storage, tucked away safely since 1989. No watermark on the actual 12x18 print. This photograph is hand-inked on the reverse side with the verified historical game data, archive layout notes, and the photographer's signature.

This original image/photograph was taken by my family member who attended this game.
